MY PC IS DEAD!

This is awful! I have to get my work/studies/game on done and my computer just won't power on/turn on/boot up. I've tried everything like pressing the start button, checking the cable and even trying a different outlet, but nothing is working! Could it be that there's something wrong with the motherboard? I'm totally out of ideas. Any tips? This
